What is a Reborn ???
A reborn is a doll that has been transformed from a play doll into a realistic looking baby. Many hours are put into each baby which results in no two exactly alike. I only use high quality products to reborn each of my babies.
First, all factory paint is removed followed by a thorough cleaning.
Next, several thin layers of oil paints are applied until I am satisfied with the baby’s coloring. The most tedious part comes next; I micro root the baby’s hair. Only one to three strands per tiny plug all over the head. Then the hair inside the head is secured with waterproof glue.
Once baby is thoroughly dry, I weight and reassemble the body. I use new cloth bodies sewn by me. Their coloring is permanent and their hair can be gently washed.
They can wear either preemie or newborn/0-3 months size infant clothing
depending on what size of baby is chosen.
